Building a more intelligent, connected world

Understanding the challenges faced by device makers and network operators including heavy expenses, slow implementations, and a fragmented vendor landscape – Stéphane saw an opportunity to build the foundation for an alternative future for the Internet of Things. So in 2018, he established Trasna, born from a vision to harness the power of semiconductor and mobile technologies. Trasna strategically acquired Elatec (Germany) and SAFE-IoT (France), gaining crucial expertise in hardware and software and uniting some of the industry's brightest minds.

In 2023, Trasna achieved a significant milestone with the launch of its first SIM chip. That same year, it introduced its proprietary RISC-V core processor, reflecting its unwavering commitment to driving in-house innovation. The journey gained momentum in February 2024 with the acquisition of Workz, the global leader in cloud eSIM, propelling Trasna closer towards its vision of total vertical integration. From advanced chip design to seamless connectivity and robust device management solutions, Trasna is redefining IoT. By taking full control of the ecosystem, it delivers unrivalled efficiency, quality, and security - empowering customers with transformative IoT solutions.

Today, Trasna is a global force with a presence spanning four continents. Headquartered in Ireland, with innovation hubs in France, Dubai, India, and Tunisia, plus GSMA-certified production facilities in Dubai and Bosnia. The company has now built a platform to serve a global market. Trasna now boasts a range of highly innovative products, from its core processors and microcontrollers to its multi-eSIM orchestration hub, IoT eSIM remote manager and device management platform; its portfolio emphatically addresses the market's evolving needs. This momemtum continues as the company currently developing its own System on Chip (SoC) powered by AI that incorporates an integrated iSIM module - an innovation has the potential to significantly disrupt the IoT market. The developments position Trasna as the world’s only provider of complete, in-house connectivity and device management solutions across all form factors: from SIM cards to eSIM modules, with integrated RSP technology and SoC (System on Chips) featuring iSIM. This streamlined, one-stop solution drastically simplifies the deployment of these technologies, offering customers unparalleled ease and efficiency in their connectivity management needs.

With over 400 dedicated and passionate individuals, Trasna is a community of pioneers. With cutting-edge innovations in semiconductor, SIM, eSIM, IoT SOC, iSIM and device management technologies, it provides a complete end-to-end solution to revolutionise the future of IoT communications. Nevertheless, despite the innovation, collaboration, and achievements, Transa's story has only just begun. Stay tuned for more developments at trasna.io
